etang2
Just wondering, purely out of curosity... Has any one else noticed that mod authors have stopped updating their mods ACROSS THE BOARD? like for example, I run around 70 induvidual mods and at one point, there would be around 10-15 updates per day! Now i'm lucky for one a week! Stay Frosty.
TheDarkPrince
You mean that they stopped caring about their mods? u.u Well, that could be one answer, yes. The other answer could be that all the "stopped updating" mods are:1)Finished without anything else to add and bugfree2)Authors has university like me XD
etang2
Yeah, I think some modders also don't know how to fix some of the bugs cause they're FREAKING PAPYRUS problems grrrr
David Brasher
Often a mod is considered complete. The author built everything that he or she planned to build, and no more bugs have been found. This mod will never have any updates again and that is just fine. (But if a rare bug or mod conflict was found, then the author would likely issue one more update. There is also the possibility that the author might someday decide to expand the mod and add something to it that was never in the original plan.) Lack of updates is a good thing. Updates usually mean you were running buggy software. In a perfect world, there would never be any updates unless the update added new and additional content for expanded functionality. etang2
True, it's that i've gotten to the point of mods where the game can't handle anymore so therefore i'm unable to download anymore which is fine but I just like new functions i suppose :)
