Evangela
Yeah I remember setting this up as well, and the half-done info on doing so >_>. Even though I got it working, I still need to compile in the CK editor. Edited May 4, 2018 by Rasikko
dagobaking
Why the need to compile in CK still?
Evangela
I don't know, I probably missed a step somewhere. I'm not gonna investigate it any longer. As long as I don't have to use that blinding CK editor for anything else, I'm fine with the current circumstances.
dagobaking
It can be a little tricky getting the paths set up right. But, switching between CK and an editor is a steep price. Plus, it is at built time that the editor does a lot of the help by highlighting any lines that have errors along with details. I haven't tried Notepad++. But, Sublime was pretty easy to set up and I'm very happy with it. Now I have it publishing from a separate mod folder so that every file for the mod is by itself in one folder. I'll walk anyone through setting it up if interested.
MackenzieBeyer
@werr92 I know that this is an old thread, but I downloaded Notepad ++ for Fallout 4 and set it up like I was supposed to. But every time I try to compile scripts, I get the error "Can't find the compiler executable" I have no idea what that means.
