I had all 3 checkboxes checked, but still had the permissions issue. i unchecked the top 3 boxes, saved the settings, opened the cogwheels again, rechecked the top 3 boxes, and saved settings. problem solved

"Open Nexus Mod manager as an admin (right click, run as admin), hit the cog wheels in between the folders and the lightbulb, make sure the top three options in the first tab are all checked (Shell Extensions, NXM URLS, and FOMOD"

You will need to close and reopen it for it to work (Or at least I had to)

Ah! Thanks a lot! :D Ridiculous that it was unchecked on default... =/

thx man, that helped, first checkbox was unchecked by default for some reasons :sad:

 

had the same issue, first box was unchecked, checked it and now it works

All i did was run it as Admin. and it all worked...though i will say that when the update happens there is a chance that most perms have a chance to be reset...its worth checking out every update if this has changed...
