Cheerio!

got the following error messages:

Now what happened was:

1) installed some new mods.

2) started Skyrim, continued from last save => got the WETriggerScript error message (not included above) and immediate CTD

3) removed new mods

4) started Skyrim, continued from last save, saw load screen for 3 seconds => CTD

5) started NEW game, got the above ERROR MESSAGES

I'm using SKSE, newest official patch, and about 20 mods. Got the newest ATI Catalyst drivers (yeah I know, ATI sucks).

But those error messages seem to be quite serious.

Any ideas?

I'm TERRIFIED of reinstalling everything and maybe not being able to use my saves anymore... :(

Hi,

Reading the error messages, my first thought was, that one or several scripts don't work correctly. Obviously a script, that comes with a mod.

Would be good, to know your mod list and load order...

Edit: No, it's a vanilla script, maybe used by a mod.

Ghaun

Found the solution! You could call it the "WETriggerScript" Bug, it has to do with Vanilla Skyrim, not any mods, as far as i could gather:

http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/651560-solution-for-wetriggerscript01099883-warning-on-init-my-holdlocation-property-has-not-been-set/

Basically what the post says is this:

Hi guys, hope I`ll help most people with this problem:

The problem is in the file, that even clean install wont fix - its in C:\Users\-yourname-\AppData\Local\Skyrim

You need to modify your plugin list, plugins.ini

make sure there is only one Skyrim.esm and no Update.esm.

So your plugins.ini should look like:

=======

Skyrim.esm

plugin1

plugin2

plugin2

...

=======

People already found out that problem is with the latest update, in one of the Dragon scripts.

That is temporary solution, but quite effective. Previous sugeestions failed to solve the problem, so I tried to dig more and found this solution. Hope Betheasda will fix it asap.

Please write if it helped.

btw, it my app folder the file is a "plugin.TXT", not "plugin.INI", but it worked anyways
