Randomly my fires stopped glowing

I updated a few mods earlier, other than that I have been working on overclocking my system. I don't see how that could effect this though. I am attaching a screenshot of an example. Normally there is a nice warm glow to all fires, especially campfires or the fires in pubs. Pretty sure its like that for everyone. This is weird, and sooks!

EDIT: Also noticing that my screen goes black sometimes when I take my torch out and put it away in certain areas. Not an issue with the video card, its like a light problem, when I look into certain areas. Sometimes it happens when I look into the sky at certain angles at night. I have been using the same ENB settings for a couple weeks now without issue. On another note, I have had it happen with ENB disabled.

If it's an ENB mod based on 1.02 tatsudoshi or earlier, it won't be entirely compatible with the latest Skyrim patch (yeah, I hate that too). But if it happened without the ENB mod as well, there must be some other problem.

 

I had a problem where if I died, when I reloaded a save all my fire would be invisible. The glow would remain, but the fire texture itself was gone. It sounds like the reverse of what you have, but they could be related. Does it only happen after you reload a save or die? Or maybe after you alt+tab out of Skyrim and then alt+tab back in, or leave Skyrim via the Task Manager for a moment?

I eventually got rid of it by reinstalling (probably not what you wanted to hear), but you could try deactivating any lighting mods you have (including ENB) first, to see if it's a mod problem. Failing that, you could also try deleting a few of Skyrim's vanilla BSA files and then have Steam redownload them for you by "verifying the integrity of your game cache", in case one is broken for some reason.

Thanks for trying Rennn, but I think I have exhausted those options :) haha. I found an article/post on a different forum about ENB causing lighting blackouts and fire glow to go missing, but it turned out the guys says it was a "multisampling" problem which was causing it. Had nothing to do with ENB. Also, sorry for not including more info in my original post about my ENB / Mods. I am running Stakado's Realistic 1.08 ENB with Imaginator and Dynavision. I have all mods uninstalled at the moment. I also deleted the entire game last night and re-verified with Steam over night. Still, after all this, the glowing is still missing! I even tried using default INI files! I will update if I find the solution. Also, this stuff happens right when I load in. I saved in the Inn in Winterhold right by the fire so I can tell right when I load up. I wish I wasn't so picky lol, I just want to play, but I want to get immersed, and this doesn't help that at all. lol.
