ludwigjohannes
So I was working on a mod and I encountered this issue. When I use the Landscape Edit tool it only lets me change the landscape texture inside some invisible box. I want to be able to Change the texture wherever I need to and this issue has to be avoidable. Before this happened I was able to use it with no problems but now all the sudden it won't work. payl0ad
Press "B" in the render window to display cell borders and quads. You can only use 4 textures per quad (the blue tiles) at most, that's actually normal. No way around it, this is an engine limitation.

HagiuAlexandru
Actually, it's 6 textures, not 4. Press B to bring up borders, select a texture and right click inside a quadrant. After you rightclicked, press i , this will show you all the textures in the cell. If a quadrant of a cell , already has 6 textures in it, just select an existing texture and try to cover up (remove) one of the other textures.By doing this, you will have only 5 textures left in the quadrant instead of 6.Now you can apply your texture.
