Extracting Assets from Games?

Hi Nexus,

 

I just saw that Rainbow Six Siege Outfit Mod and started thinking that doing something simmilar with Ghost Recon Wildlands would fit into the Game even better. Problem is, i haven't found anything like that.

 

So i thought if I did it myself - following EU Copyright Law and only rip it for my personal use (no uploads without permission by the creators) - it would be a cool thing to have.

Problem is, I'm not exactly sure how to do it with GRW-assets, since that games folder structure is quite different from what i see in skyrim or fallout where i can directly access or simply extract textures and meshes with a neat little programm.

I'm pretty sure that the Nexus guidelines forbid users from providing assistance in this regard,as it skirts too close to the line for their tastes. And game devs/publishers are known to not care about the limits of the law in matters like this.
