David Brasher
This is not too surprising. Skyrim is not reliable for mod usage. In Oblivion, if a mod worked perfectly on the computer it was created on, then it almost always worked very well on other computers. In Skyrim, there have been numerous reports of mods not working right for no explainable reason. They may work on 97% of the computers, but the people with those other computers are just out of luck and have to give up and go find some other mods to play. So you should do these things, and then if they don't work, give up and move on to other mods: (1) Read the readme files to see how to properly install the mods.(2) Examine the directories to be sure that the mods are installed properly and completely. (Open two windows, one with the compressed downloaded mod and one with your Skyrim directories.)(3) Make sure you are not using Window 7 / Windows Vista. If you discover to your dismay that you are, then be sure that you have installed Skyrim in a directory other than "Program Files / Program Files (X86)"(4) Make sure that the mods you download are the right language. If you have English Skyrim, then only use English mods and mods that have been translated into English.
