Algabar
Well, this is a task that involves quite a few things: 1. Creating a mesh in a 3d modeling program. "Blender" is free, other solutions would be 3ds Max or Maya. I think, there is a student licence for 3ds Max... 2. Creating textures for your new mesh. You will need GIMP (free) or Photoshop together with a plugin to export into the .dds format used by Skyrim. 3. Exporting your mesh in the .nif format used by Skyrim and applying the textures. You will need "nifskope" for the texture part and maybe "Outfit Studio" for mesh conversion. Both are free. 4. Creation Kit (free, available from bethesda.net): You will need this to put your new flowers into the world. You see, there are some steps that require different skills and software. Best way would be to look for tutorials for each step individually and come back here, if you got questions.

ben446
you can find a lot of tutorials on youtube. I would recommend trying a couple of tutorials by different video makers. Once you find one that suits you then try and use their tutorials as much as you can. I found some tutorials while they are good, I just couldn't keep up with them and didn't give enough information. You may also want to check in the modders resource section on here. Sometimes there are tutorials that may help with things like blender or nifscope. There is also TES Alliance, there are tutorials on there which are very helpful. I hope you manage to get the information you need to make your mod. Skyrim could do with a few more plants.
