GrindedStone
It's not bloat, if it were then you would see a save over 20Mb in size that crashes constantly. Your problem is you run a low to medium powered gamer rig, but you also run high settings and/or high quality content. It was fine before, but not all areas of the game have the same performance requirement. It could be that it is time to adjust your settings/configs again. It could be a save that was taken where there is a insane amount of background computin. It could be near one of the areas in the game that have higher performance requirements. Heck load the 120 hour game up, an then go take a walk outside for 15 minutes. Unless you know what each advanced setting does an you are going for profile you know works better for a game, you should really use "let the 3D application decide" with Nvidia cards. Only use advanced settings on the games that have really poor performance. On the flip side of that most games allow some configuration. Also normally a person will write a little text editor program to do this the easy way. Skyrim Configurator Stutter is directly related to the distance sliders. Which you should adjust in-game based on play. You can also try using windowed mode and a full screen windowed mode mod, to some it's a performance issue. JD1
I don't see what's low about my rig, I'm very well in the system recommended requirements if not over at some point, I've always played on High and with some settings on very high, like I said it was not stuttering when I started to play Skyrim back in November and January either when I installed my first ENB which looked amazing. Now even when I play my new game after 5-10 minutes it's stuttering, not much but enough to not be having fun and quit the game. I tried the Skyrim configurator (by the way it's very nice) and lowered my settings to medium even cut off half of draw distances and it's still stuttering, I feel like just uninstall and have a fresh new start at zero, sadly.
bben46
When I see a sudden problem when no hardware has changed, and no program changes I look for something outside of the game. Have you installed any new programs lately? Have you changed the way any older program works lately? Have you scanned for malware lately? Some of the worst offenders are instant messenger programs that check for new messages in the background. They steal the focus for a second to check, then give it back. If the focus is lost for too long it crashes the game. If it's not to long, usually a short freeze then a jump in the game.
JD1
Now that I think about it, I installed dotnetfx35 (which degraded from version 4.0 I believe..) and another program for Fifa 12, could it be a problem? Also I will run my program for malwares and viruses, it's been a while since I did it, it might find something. Thanks bben!
GrindedStone
Start a new game, ride the cart, twirl your thumbs. Escape the begining. Press ~ to open the console, type TMM 1 (toggle map markers 1) Now travel to the spot where you noticed the stutter, an run around mad as norads looking for stutter.
