Fog filters don't work

I don't remember at all which mod it comes from, but the fog filters in the special menu of workshop mode don't work. They have never worked for me, with all kinds of interiors I've built.

 

What could I be missing? It's really annoying to actually be inside, with doors closed, and fog just rolls on in.

Those fog filters are a Far Harbor DLC item, they show up once you've unlocked the right perk tree section for your character. They may be somewhat level locked, too. As to why they are not working, we'd need to see your mod list and order.

Hm, maybe they only work in Far Harbor? I've been trying to use them in the main game land.

My DLC .esm files have been FO4Edit cleaned - not sure if that matters here.

Just took a look and I can tell you: find my help and issues with some tools post and have a look at page 2 and while you're at it, grab the general load order guide at bethesda.net . You'll want to follow that order and Scrap everything is a tricky beast that wants to be at the bottom or near there, so my 2nd page has some good load order import files there. Do note the importer in NMM will ignore lines with a # starting them so you can use that to help organize things and pull a trick or two (see my files and you'll see what I mean).
