Ragoh
Hey guys, I wonder if anyone could help me one way or another. I recently upgraded my graphics drivers with Catalyst automatic updates. When I did so I forgot to create a rollback point, which I usually do for any update. I am now running version 12.4 and now whenever I try to play I get a complete graphics failure. When I begin a game the logo to the left of the menu will suddenly black out certain polygons, then when I get in the game, graphics will crash almost completely. Polygons will glitch out, textures fail to load, and it's just unplayable. I've tried rolling back to 12.3, 12.2, 12.1, and I can't find which version worked. Is there another way to make it compatible with any of these versions?
fms1
I've seen that some people can uninstall then reinstall and it clear up some driver issues. The auto functions don't seem as reliable as manual ones, eg the express function in AMD\ ATI CCC sometimes have these problems.

It seems 12.1 was the magic number after all, I needed only to run a drive sweeping program from safe mode, remove all AMD software, and reinstall 12.1. Runs just as I remember now. There's still some graphics pixelation but that's always been there, it's an acceptable trade-off for being able to run this amazing game on this machine. (It was cutting-edge back in 07) So I'm gonna call this one resolved. Thanks again!
