Hyoukage Posted April 29, 2012 Share Posted April 29, 2012 Some of us play this particular mod, some of us don't.However, using the equipable ears leads to a small issue... we can't wear things like the Breathing Mask, or Ulysses' Mask with the ears equipped. The primary issue with this situation is simple: Both the masks and the ears use the "Headband" equipment slot. In both cases, Breathing Mask or Ulysses', this makes no sense, right? They're MASKS, not headbands. As such, they shouldn't take up the headband slot, right? And, I'm sure some of us get a bit curious in the choice of gear slots some other items take. An example is in helmets. Every helmet takes up numerous slots on the equipping characters' head. Namely the Hair, Headband, and Hat slots. In most cases, this makes sense. In two cases, the Valence Radii-Accentuator and the Atomic-Valence Tri-Radii-Oscillator, this doesn't make sense. Neither item is a true helmet. They are best described as "technologically advanced halos"... and, last I checked, when an angel puts' his/her halo on for field work, they don't go bald. So, why do they take the Hair slot? Why not take a different one, like the Hat slot? I sent a request in to XSoldier, the one who ported the mod this topic is titled after, for permission regarding an edit of the mod in question. Barring that, I'll be digging into the GECK anyways to rework some equipment items to cooperate with this mod in the area of equipping certain things.
