Wils0
I have been trying out put a bunch of animation mods together to use later on in a larger package but i've encountered a problem where starting from a new game is perfectly fine but trying to load a previous save causes a CTD after the loading screen. Has anyone else encountered anything like this before and can point me in the right direction of what needs to be disabled.
Wils0
Problem has been fixed. It has nothing to do with animations but actually SKSE64 plugins and NiOverride.
arpharazonn
How did you fix it? I encountered same problem as well...
Wils0
Yeah it is a problem with XPMSE, SKEE and NiOverride. I'm currently poking around to see if I can fix it. Without an update to SKEE it is problematic. I think I am going to just wait for Expired to send out a new release and see if it fixes it. Algabar
It is a problem with SKEE. For some further information, you can look at the posts by "Oldmansbeard" in this thread:https://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/6594521-ctd-on-loaddeath-problem-with-modded-sse/ ATM, being patient an waiting for a SKEE update is the only thing we can do. Personally, I went back to Racemenu Alpha 5 and XPMSE 4.20. This combo seems to work without any issues - at least for me.

But 4.20 version not useful for animations for ex sword on back etc. There is no settings in game. Right?
Algabar
But 4.20 version not useful for animations for ex sword on back etc. There is no settings in game. Right? Yep. That's the downside. I also miss the MCM menu and all those configuration options we had in Oldrim and which came back with 4.31. TBH, for me stability was priority #1, so I switched back to something definitely stable. From my understanding, the "problem" is SKEE rather than XPMSSE. So maybe using 4.31 with Racemenu Alpha 5 would work. Didn't test that in depth. The problem is SKEE and on github the issue fixed. But not compiled. Expired must compile it to dll..
