no the ones in the mod add new ones not replace the old ones. sorry for not classifying.

Open the console and type : help "thieves" 0

This will show the ids of all items that include "thieves" in their name. Then scroll through the list you get, 'till you find the armor you're looking for. If the items are named something else, replace "theives" with "part of their name" and search.

If that doesn't work or there are too many search results replace the zero on the end with a four, which will limit the results you get and make the list shorter.
