Leziath Posted April 30, 2012 Share Posted April 30, 2012 So, I'm no good at modding, so I'm throwing this out into the world to see if anyone else wants to play with it. I'd like to see a dynamic rivalry system. The mod would generate, based on your character, perks, abilities, choices etc. a new NPC, that would be encountered randomly, who is the antithesis, or possibly a more or less direct countepart, to the PC. Very hard to kill but popping up now and again to hamper your own quests, occaisionally request a team up, maybe, depending on how friendly or intense the rivalry is, help you out in a tight spot (either because they don't actually want you dead, or because "only I may kill you"). During combat with this rival, upon beating them, there would be a high chance that they would escape (utilising invisibility, feigned death, unconsciousness, etc) so that they can keep popping up now and again. In order to be realistic, of course, you would need to be able to kill them if you were persistant enough. Maybe, eventually, develop a less hostile relationship with them. I'm making this up as I type, really, as the idea only just came to me. Oh, and of course, if you killed them before completing the main quest, you would encounter them one last time in Sovngarde.
