madman132
Characters in Morrowind look quite unnatural. Well, the Oblivion NPCs also have this stiff "unreal" quality. Not as bad as the Morrowind ones though.
Leenysaurus
Random question: what's the max plugin limit for Morrowind?
Aerin Morth
Oh, I know ... I have to play 99% of Morrowind yet because I've barely gotten into it, but with how into Oblivion I am, I can't sit still to play Morrowind for so long. But I still love it for all I know it has. Oblivion really shouldn't have sacrificed so much, but, you know, time is money. I loved morrowinds story and still play it purely for the story. I'm such a lore nut I can't put down a game with a beautiful and rich story even if the gameplay sucks horridly *cough* Advent Rising *cough* for example. I wonder if all writers are like that? I'm the same way. Lore-rich games are like candy for me. That's why I didn't put down Neverwinter Nights: Hordes Of The Underdark for about a week after getting it, even though it looks like crap. It's story is so well-written and rich with lore that I was immediately sucked into it. The same goes for Morrowind. Even after all these years, I'm still in love with the story and the lore. The gameplay and graphics may not be top notch, but the massive amount of work put into the storyline gives the game that special feeling that makes it so much more alive than Oblivion. helzi
Well - I remember when my brother got Morrowind. He bought two games, Age Of Empires 2, and Morrowind. He told me AOE was a multiplayer game, and at the time, that sounded great! He spent the whole of the way home reading the Morrowind manual and saying how great it was, and I felt really put out that he wasn't going to play with me. (I was only about eight) So he's there at home playing away, and I felt curious, and installed it on my computer. I fell in love with it. Whenever my friends came round, I would show them EVERY creature in the game, and make a little checklist of the ones we'd seen. That was great. I mean... for me, anyway. Best memory is when I found out how to cast magic. It sounds stupid but it took about a year before I found out how. I played that for a while, then we got Bloodmoon - my brother and I payed half each. I fell in love with that. Then we borrowed Tribunal, and I fell in love with that too, but soon found other games to play, and Morrowind went dusty in my drawers. I still think of the giant things... stilt striders? Or something. The sounds they made... loved it!
helzi
Oh yeah, and Oblivion - first thing I saw were the patch of deer outside IC. I loved Oblivion, and still do. I'm making a house mod for it as we speak! :D
