can't use melee/unarmed weapons

so after switching some of my mods around, i find myself unable to use melee/unarmed weapons when in and ONLY in 3rd person, the game functions normally in first but then i go to 3rd and then something goes wrong, my character crosses her wrist and movement stops i can no longer go forward attack or block, my character crosses her wrists and freezes.

if anyone has any idea as to what may have happened i could use some help i tried reinstalling weapon and animation mods but nothing yet.

have you removed any animation mod?

anything related to 3rd person animations?

because it sounds like it doesn't occur in 1st person (if I understand your post correctly) , and this sounds like you messed something up when removing mods

it would help if you could explain what you did that could have caused the issue (have you removed or added any mods? if so which . anything else you may have done since the last time the game worked properly)

well, i actually added animation mods to the game [i removed some armor and weapon mods and didn't know if it was relevant so I phrased it that way sry] but only for pistols nothing for melee weapons. should I uninstall the animation mods and reinstall them one at a time until i find the troublemaker?

 

basically, i installed the mods in groups of 5 or so checking to make sure they were working then installing more, and after installing the lowered weapon mod, a few face/eye mods for companion mod as well as the pistol animation mod it got all weird. i tried uninstalling thoes but it didnt fix the issue.

I FOUND THE MOD

 

oddly enough it was a weapon mod https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/31401?tab=files, that seemed to trigger the problem... no idea why.

 

i just wound up disabling every mod I had and enabling them one after another
