Hermit835
Hello, I'm new to animation modding. I wish to work with Skyrim (not special edition). I understand that I cannot make new animations, only work with current ones in the game. I understand that an older blender file with a nifskope plugin will work, as well as, 3ds Max from Autodesk. I've done numerous searches on google, and in the search tool for this site. However, I am not a student, and I need something more permanent than a 30-day trial. I'm mostly broke all the time. I cannot for the life of me make sense of Github, or niftools. I'm really lost, but I would really like to get started on this path. Can someone please take pity on this newbie and help me out? Everything I look for has a date of 2014 or close to it. ANY help will be greatly appreciated.
Zartar
You can add new animations using FNIS or my soon to be released behavior tool. As for creating the animations themselves, there's a tutorial here for Blender: https://www50.atwiki.jp/skyrim_mod/pages/48.html
Hermit835
Thank you very much! I've been working with the program all day. Did you put any constraints on the arms and legs? I've been watching tutorials and reading guides and Q&A's, but nothing seems to be working.
