fps drops to 1fps around cambridge crater

hi all i seem to be having an issues around cambridge crater where my fps will drop to 1 fps and not go back up

my computer specs are

intel i7 6700k

gtx780 gpu

8gb ddr4 corsair ram

 

the problem only occurs around this area but everywhere else it sits at 60fps and the problem occurs both on vanilla and modded so not a problem with a mod because i loaded a save just before the mods where installed any help would be greatly appreciated thanks

I visited that area yesterday.

 

My specs

 

i7 6700k

GTX 1080 to

16gb ddr4

1tb SSD

 

I play at 4k resolution.

 

I got zero drops below 60fps.

 

Your CPU is a good one for this game. I have never seen a drop below 50fps with one.

 

To test your GPU, drop your resolution & see if your frame rate improves.

 

To test your ram go out of the game without pausing & see what Windows is reporting. My game uses around 3.5gbs ram. Windows uses around 2gb ram.

I did have issues when I used 8gbs ram but not frame rate.

 

Older saves can have drops in load-in areas if your game is on a consumer hard drive. New saves will not have these drops even with mods installed.
