Help Changing Bard's Song's?

Hello.

I have been looking around and cant find anything on how to replace/change the bard's songs in Skyrim.

I was just wondering if someone could point me in the right direction on how i may accomplish this.

I'm not sure their music even counts as singing, I think it might just be technically voices. I checked the Music.BSA, and I couldn't find anything.

 

What you could do is get a mod to make the bards not play or sing unless requested, meaning that ambient tavern music will always play. You could then replace the ambient tavern music with music of your choice.

 

Here's a mod to make the bards not play [unless you request that they sing].

And to replace ambient tavern music, which always plays when the bards are not playing, you would create the following folder path:

Skyrim\Data\Music\Tavern

And inside the Tavern folder you would name the new music:

mus_tavern_01

 

If you want to replace ALL the tavern ambient music, so that song plays every time, you would put in five copies, named:

mus_tavern_01

mus_tavern_02

mus_tavern_03

mus_tavern_04

mus_tavern_05

 

I hope that helps. Also, the song you use might need to be in .xwm format. Using a .wav format might work, but I'm not sure.

.wav filed worked also there was no need to convert them to .xwm
