3DS Max .nif plugin help?

hi ho,

 

i'm trying to intall the nif plugin for the 2010 version of 3ds max, and i've decompressed th 7z file, and alll i get is abunch if folders and no .exe file, am i just being a fool or am i doing something wrong here?

first you need to choose which version you have (32 or 64), then from folder for 2010 version copy both plugin folders to your max main directory

 

and one more thing - if you have 3.7.3 version then delete it and download and install 3.7.1, as the former is buggy...

the question is what game you want to modify? as the plugin you posted the link to has no any support for skyrim's files...

well.... that would explain it... that's the only one i could find for the 2010 version...

Thanks for posting that link! I couldn't find it on the niftools 3ds max section.
