Drevan80
Something has happened with my Skyrim SE. I have loaded 39 mods and the game worked fine till I added one more mod (changed to 40) and after that mod all my saves stopped working (game crashes when trying to load the New Savefile) So I uninstalled that mod (In this case it was More Vampire Eyes SSE - More Vampire Eyes Glowing SSE) but I have this problem even when More Vampire Eyes Glowing hasn't been installed and activated, so anyhow I uninstalled More Vampire Eyes Glowing reloaded the savefile still crashing and then I reload an earlier savefile it worked til I made a new savefile and tried to load it then game crashed again, I even try to start a new game and it also worked fine until I tried to create a new savefile and tried to load the new file then the game crashed again (I hadn't installed or uninstalled any mod after uninstalling More Vampire Eyes Glowing). I also tried to deactivate all mods and then I could make new savefiles and load them. I also tried to let LOOT sort the mod list with the same result New Savefile crashes game when loaded. Someone that have thoughts on what the problem/problems could bee? Yes I did uninstalled Skyrim SE and deleted all custom files that got left by the uninstall program before I reinstalled Skyrim SE again I have the latest version of Skyrim SE, SKSE64, SKEE64 (Required by XPMSE64) Unofficial Skyrim SE Patch, Cutting Room Floor. Until a week or so I didn't have any trouble playing Skyrim SE with 255 mods. The only changes I did during that one week or so was convert Oldrim Racemenu and Dual Wield Redux to Skyrim SE Standard Edited May 8, 2018 by Drevan80
Deleted3897072User
If you look at the comments thread for XPMSSE, you will discover the answer. Delete skee64.dll from your Data\SKSE\Plugins folder, uninstall XPMSSE 4.31 and install XPMSSE 4.

Drevan80
It helped! Deleteing SKEE64.dll made my old saves working again and made it possible to create new saves. Thanks a lot for that tip. Edited May 9, 2018 by Drevan80
