I saw this earlier and downloaded the 7 I didn't have yet so thanks for the heads up. :) I am playing a mage character right now and I really like the Daedric Mage armor. I think it would be a nice addition to the list.

It's also a standalone armor so it wouldn't conflict with the Evil Incarnate armor.

These are all great armors, all very lore friendly. even the ones ported from other games are such that they could conceivably fit in. Nicely done.

Warchief is by far the best armour mod in the game. it slots in perfectly and doesn't look even slightly out of place. That combined with its overall awesomeness.

 

Also no mention of the Einherjar Armour

I use a couple of armor mods that I really like, and may deserve a place in your list.

This is a reskin of the Ebony armor and weapon set to make a craftable Ivory version. It's just nice to have an alternative to black for our good guys.

 

2. http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=10680

 

These are craftable versions of a reskin of the Psijic robes that gives a choice of colors and changes the design to something more suited to dovahkiin. I love these for my mage, and they can be crafted in either cloth or leather (for us wimpy mages who want real armor).

Most all of these are great (personal taste), I like the Nightingale Prime mod also, but it has been removed from Nexus. I have my copy though.

 

EDIT: I also use this Heroic Dwarven (retex)

 

And it has a standalone Heroic Dwarven Standalone Set

Most all of these are great (personal taste), I like the Nightingale Prime mod also, but it has been removed from Nexus. I have my copy though.

I didn't notice the Nightingale Prime was removed so thanks for that. Going to go make a backup of mine now. :smile:

thanks for compiling the video Tyrannicon, those mostly looked to be heavy armor variants that cover everything.

guess i'm on the opposite end of the armoring spectrum from you and tend to gravitate to quick/stealthy female players+followers

steering exclusively toward minimalistic simple light armor/gear.

Not to be rude, but weren't 6 or so armours listed... just re textures? Some do look better than originals don't get me wrong. I dunno... I prefer original stuff.. like Einherjar/Warchief ... and everything by the warchief artist.
