skygames101
CIVILIANS-SYSTEM-PROTECTION (CSP)PLEASE IF YOU MAKE A MOD BASED OFF OF ANY OF THESE IDEAS, I ONLY ASK THAT YOU MENTION MY NAME AND THIS URL PAGE WHERE YOU WERE INSPIRED.Ambush/Sneaking - First off, if you are entering a city, guards should scatter. They should obviously be working together and have organized watchers/observers, those watchers/observers can notify other guards and they will be prepared before you enter the city, at least if you're a criminal that is. If not, you should be fine to enter but ↓MinorObservation - If you enter the city, and you don't attempt to pick a lock(means you entered lock picking mode), move items around or bump into other civilians too commonly or maybe, you don't crouch or go into sneak too often, the guards will not focus on you all too much, they will not stare at you as much as they would, and they won't spy on you either ↓Spying/SensitiveObservations - Are you bumping into people too often, sneaking behind users, or picking locks(means you entered lock picking mode). Maybe you just left jail, or you committed a crime in another city/town. You are heard of, and if your behavior does not settle or retire to a neutral state, the guards will watch you even when you leave the city and might pursue an investigation missionTheftPrevention/AntiTheivery - Did you steal something, were you lucky enough to get a warning from such a kind vendor? Well, you might not be in trouble yet, but you will be observed by undercover guards, at times of night the vendor which you previously stole from, he/she gave you a warning but the vendor is still worried, he sends a letter to a guard nearby to arrange a meeting. At night they will meet right after the incident you pulled, they will discuss in quiet what actions will be taken. Next visit you make, you'll notice an extra person in the same shop, never there before. He is dressed nicely and is a fellow shopper, you're upstairs and as you grab the potion off the shelf nothing happens. Seems odd, you were suspecting something eventful, oh but you've been deceived!, just about as soon as you leave the shop that same unusual fellow will be blocking the door, he will take any stolen items(if any) and will arrest you.Pursuit/Chase - Did you commit a major crime, does the entire city want your head? Well, if you try and run it won't work for you, even on a horse it will never work. First off leaving the city's doors won't help right off the bat, there is at least 5-6 guards are waiting outside the door, including a random number of archers prepared to bullseye an arrow through your brain. If you're somehow able to fend yourself off against these guards you have another problem, running is not an option to even begin with, they have guards on horses, they will shoot your horse down and kill you. These guards are hungry and need their food for the night, so they will not miss a shot, they will chase you down very far, and will even travel to cities you goto, they will arrest you upon site(Depending on the region StormClocks, Imperial, the guards may have a fight, and a side of guards may even protect you at times.) Cities/Towns may work together and you will be unwelcome to the city/town.Strafe/Dodge - Any standard civilian would not be able to fend themselves from a weaponed attacker. However guards have that exception, especially guards of high priority, they are trained to perfection, able to avoid attacks will delivering the sharpest and most powerful blows, slashes and slices. Even an unarmed guard should be fully capable of fending himself from a weaponized attacker. You slice and they avoid it, moving back or running around. Guards may even come into another's defense to protect themStratedgy/Teamwork - You enter a city and kill a civilian or guard, they are weak and puny easily killed, they have no organization on how to take you down, they are guards right? They should have this covered and have had this incident occur in the past, they should be far more experienced? If you are/become engaged in combat with a guard they should based on how close you are, select a weapon, either shield & sword or if they are farther, or not as close, depending on the guards group size will they select a bow, if the shield & sword guard is low, he will retreat behind cover, or he will hide behind the archer, the archer will switch weapons to a shield & sword position, he will then distract you or prevent you from attacking his other teammate(s). Mage guards may also heal wounded guards.Items/Inventory - You attack a guard and kill him, he is not prepared, he has no resistance potions, so you can easily kill him with magic powers. They are weak and should have potions, like healing and a potion which provides resistance of a random, so not all guards will have that resilience against your magic powers. MoreGuards - There is only one type of guard, a guard with a simple set of weapons, a bow, a sword, and a shield. This is dull and very boring, it makes it very easy for enemies/foes or even you to kill a guard, but what if mage guards existed, they would be expensive so not all too common, and depending on the budget of the city/town would define how many mage guards would be present, or if the option was possible in the first place, places like Skyrim would be littered with them, everywhere because of how rich the town itself is. Mage guards can heal wounded guards/citizens or even can heal you, they can cast a magical defense ward and protect guards/citizens/you from magic damage, they will do this to protect people. Killed citizens have a very rare chance of being revived from a mage guard, mage guards carry a wealthy amount of potions and enchanted weapons, never bows or shields. They will always have weak gear since they are a mage.Dogs - It's pretty silly how you can smuggle drugs of every kind into a city, even dropping them in the open, and then just slapping it back into your pockets without any trouble, the guards are clearly blind and are not worried about possible drug wars or others. Dogs would be roaming around the city, they are trained and can detect various types of drugs, there is a 40% chance of detection, if you do get caught the dog will start barking and they will follow you, a guard will then subdue you and will bring you into a jail cell where all stolen goods and drugs are restrained. Dogs are also used as a pal or a line of defense, they do quite a bit of damage, and are always 20 levels behind you, they are fast and have great mobility. They can alert guards when you try to steal items/pick a door/pickpocket a civilian.NOTE I DO NOT OWN ANY OF THE IMAGES BELOW, THEY ARE FROM OTHER SOURCES I FOUND WHILE SURFING GOOGLE.
