Justcallmetarzan
I can't seem to figure out how to paint with that texture painter thing. It always winds up altering the height and features of the land instead of laying the texture I've selected even when I deselect the flatten and soften vertices boxes. I'm confuzzled as heck about this because I've done everything the Wiki says on this, and it's not helping one bit. :wallbash:
LoginToDownload
Aww, you got my hopes up for a moment on a 3D painting program... The only thing I'm worse at than modeling is making textures for said models. You have to right-click with the landscaping open to paint textures. Justcallmetarzan
d'OH.... actually, if you're good enough with selections and such, you can effectively paint-modify 3ds objects. Using free selection with soft selection on lets you make VERY realistic landscape. Not too useful for buildings tho. You can get the same effects on buildings with an extruded spline though... LoginToDownload
I use Blender for now. Many thanks, though.
