Khuprus Posted May 2, 2012 Share Posted May 2, 2012 Hey! I've been editing some armor for my Khajiit thief and have encountered an issue. I've attached a picture to help show what I'm doing (original on left, mine on right). Step 1 was removing the cape on the Nightingale armor. I edited the mesh in 3DSMax, exported to NifSkope, then pulled it into the game with the Creation Kit. No errors, everything is fine and working (yay!). Step 2 was getting rid of the ridiculous human-shaped enclosed hood. I edited the mesh to remove the glowing eyes piece as well as the top hood, then pushed and pulled the mesh to fit the Khajiit snout better. This leaves me with kind of a bandit bandanna. The weird thing is the texture shows up absolutely fine in NifSkope (as pictured), but when pulled into the game it appears as solid black. I know this piece is much more complicated (closed helm to open helm, removing the glowing eyes, mesh modify) and I'm kind of stumped with what to do...
