This is such a cool mesh for a sword, is there anybody out there

with the time and skill to do it justice.

Please i have no talent for retexturing myself but would love to have this.

Maybe in black with light blue....

This file needed a dump anyway but think this information is relative.

 

Been going through the files related to this sword and the *.dds looks shiny anyway so there's nothing much wrong with it, just a dds_n file needed (its got 2 dds) files. is there an easy way to make one.

 

Does anybody have time to look at this, i'm currently reading tutorials, but it might as well be japanese cos i dont understand it

The blade from the pic looks nice enough, its just dull looking ingame

needs the dds_n i think. plus dont think the actual dds is the correct format,

I think it would be nice that you first ask the author of the mod if he allows his files to be edited/changed.

 

It doesn't matter if darkninjaproductions and gives it just to you...that's not for personall use anymore.

Right, it was gonna be for personal use but never thought of that, i'll ask.

edit - Who do you ask if the original modder has stopped modding ?

And you still ask him even if he has stopped modding he still has the ownership rights so ask and wait there should be a get out clause with the Redeme file look at that for more details. :biggrin:

read the Redeme and there should be a get out clause so that after a time you can do what you want with the file aslong as u give credit

It just says to contact him, with an email address.

Nothing at all about reusing rights if an acknowledgment is made to him.

Can only wait for an answer, I'll take this time to learn how to retexture.

Its getting hard to mod, I need new meshes, then texture the meshes, then need to script..

I learning scripting now cos my pet has no AI, keeps jumping of cliffs :wacko:

For a truly unique mod will take me another 3 month learning lol
