So my idea is that when you get 100s of quests in your log (especially the misc ones), it would be nice to know if you were near some of them. For instance if I am off in Riften for some quest line I am following, if somehow there was an alert or whatever that told me, that I could also take the next step in some other quest that I havent looked at forever. Now I end up going through them one by one and trying to remember the approximate area that I need to for each one, which is quite frankly impossible once you get so many.

So, for example, when you enter Riften, you get told about quests you have in Riften?

Exactly. I think it might work best if it alerts you to any quests with some radius. What the ideal radius is though, I have no idea.
