I got an idea for some weapons enchantments.... Have you played the mod Ivellon, Implementor, Deadly Reflexes and Midas Magic Spells? Well thats were i got the idea. As you most likely know most of the weapons in the Ivellon dungeon have a script that allows you to equip them as single handed weapons or two handed weapons with some strength requirements to wield it one handed there is also a sword in the Ivellon mod called Elven Fire, what it does is every ten hits it does an area effect fire blast with a radius of 25 feet or so. In the Implementor mod, your enemy may be turned to a soulless husk based on your luck how about Deadly Reflexes when you cast a frost spell and it crits it will freeze the enemy solid and if you hit them again they will shatter or get blasted out of there boots from a shock spell or charred broiled by a fire spell. Finally in Midas Spells some of the the frost spells freeze the enemies for a short period of time or send the undead running with there butts ablaze in holy fire. But you most likely already know this.

Well what my idea is to combined all these ideas into weapons enchantments. Give the weapon a script when equip to allow the player to wield it one handed or two, one handed if they meet the strength and blade/blunt skill requirements also give it a simple cast on strike frost enchant for low damage and every 10 hits like the Elven Fire sword in the Ivellon mod or it can be based on your luck like in Hex_Off mod Implementor for more randomness but the end result is it cast a frost damage area blast causing the main enemy it hits to be frozen solid and can be shattered like in Deadly Reflexes. All enemies in the 25 foot radius will take frost damage and be frozen for a short period of time like in Midas Spells. This would also be just as cool with fire or shock damage turning your enemy into a crispy critter or blasting them out of there boots. How about a holy weapon that would turn that annoying dread zombie or lich to ashes and send any other undead in the radius running bathed in holy fire. I also think that it would be great to see it work with drain health and magic with the end result being a soulless husk like in Implementor mod. The area effect would be demoralize. Some may feel these ideas for weapon enchants to be to uber but you must admit it sounds cool. Just think about it, the frost script stated above attached to Jojjo's Frostmourne or any of your favorite weapon for that matter or use it as a worthy reward at the end of an epic dungeon or long drawn out quest in your own personal mod. I would do it myself but im not good at scripting the truth is the only thing i am good at is playing :wallbash: , but i think i have a good idea. Well hit me back and tell me what you think.

If i can get the permission the rest shouldn't be to hard because the scripts have already been written by these great modders, L@zarus the the mind behind the Ivellon mod, Skycaptain who brought us Deadly Reflexes, Xilver who created Midas Magic Spells and HeX_Off creator of the Implementor mod. If you haven't tried any of these mods, i would advise you to download them trust me  Anyway I just need someone who understands how to compile them into one mod and make them work. I am almost positive that the idea will be embraced by the community because in the end we all share a common interest " To take a great game and make it better. " If this mod gets made i expect no credit nor want any just be sure to thank all the great modders listed above because there imagination and talent are what spurred the idea. :thanks:

Now here is the problem:

- How the heck would you control your attacks? Especially those who doesn't want to lure a bunches of guards just because your sword activated it's area attack and hit them.

Ya I can see your point but that is the problem with all area effect weapons in the game but the goal is not for it to go off on every hit, just on the set number or based on your luck, so the higher your luck the more often it would happen, but im not really sure how to get around that other than lower the area to zero in the construction set if you didnt want it
