Good mods that directly affect/alter/improve/overhaul Skyrim Main Quest

There was once a topic about this but it's kind of old now. So... Do you have any mods that dirrectly affect Main Quest? What are they made of? What do they do? How do they make the game engine die? I mean, could they kill a computer? Quite a weak computer which can't even handle any ENB presets without losing billions of fps? What's the biggest Main Quest mod in this whole place? Are there any smaller mods for the Main Quest that work really good and don't have incompabilities with each other? Could you strap them together into a choppable block?

I don't think they put a lot of strain of the machine, but your mileage may vary.

Legendary Main Quest Expansion adds a lot of monsters, loot, traps, and cobwebs to main quest dungeons, and the final boss battle is more diffiicult iirc.

World Easter Beater expands the final boss battle with a multi stage challenge that I only watched on youtube once.

Not So Fast - Main Quest adds optional configurable delays, bundled with giving you the horn without having to talk to Delphine

Opening Scene Overhaul tweaks the Helgen intro with restored scenes and alternative voice types

there are a few Paarthurnax quest mods, one is no longer supported on Skyrim Classic, one was never ported to Skyrim SE - that seems like an opportunity...

and now my mod roster

Never Talk To NPCs will let you advance civil war without becoming Dragonborn, by shifting becoming Dragonborn outside the areas affected by the civil war battles and government changes

Skyrim Giant Mountain Trail contains a quest that lets you skip The Fallen quest. Similarly to Betrayal at Hrothgar that let you complete civil war even if something went awry, this mod is shielding Main Quest Dialogue Overhaul (W.I.P.) which will let you among others kill important NPCs, so a backdoor way to complete the main quest may be useful.

there's also The Faces Of Time but it doesn't anything that a player could do themselves with some role-playing.

And rethinking the "Paarthurnax" quest, I am going to make the following modification:

- no "Paarthurnax" quest in quest journal

- the dispute does not block you from developing Blades faction

- extra option to recruit Blades as civil war allies, and this is what may be suspended because of the dispute

and more dialogue options whenever it makes sense.
