CyniclyPink
I'm trying to install the Skyrim HD 2k textures pack and when I try to enable it through NMM it gets about 75% through adding it and stops and puts up the message "system.outofmemory exception was thrown" I downloaded the 2 part split files. I unpacked them into one folder and it all seemed to work ok. Thanks for any help :) My system is:Asus P8H61-M LE B3 RevisionIntel i5- 2500k CPU @ 3.30ghzRadeon HD 68704 G RAMWin XP
MShoap13
First off, is that 32 bit XP or XP x64? If it's 32 bit, that's your issue. You can try installing HD 2K manually, but even if you get it installed properly, your game probably won't like it due to 32 bit OS limitations regarding RAM. Normally, I'd refer people on 32 bit OSes to this thread. However, that trick is really meant for Vista/7 as XP reserves far less RAM for itself in the first place. It's probably worth your money to upgrade to a 64 bit OS. This will require you either format your current HDD, or that you place it on a new drive.
