mothergoose729
Firstly, obligatory thanks to the TES modding community. Skyrim has the best mods already of all the games and modding has only just begun. You guys are truly awesome. I am using some realism mods, namely cheskos frostfall:http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=11163 Economics of Skyrim:http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=11919 Cloaks of Skyrim:http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=12092 EOS alters merchants inventory/leveled list, and clocks of skyrim and frostfall both create an in game demand for linen wraps in order to craft cloaks and torches. The problem is linen is rather rare in the world of skyrim. A simple fix would be to add linen wraps to the leveled list for "traders" (such as riverwood trader, ect) so that a player can buy these items. It might make sense to add linen to the lootable leveled list of some creatures, and maybe different factions such as bandits, foresworn, ect. According to wikipedia, linen is made from a flax plant, particularly flax fibers. There happens to be several flax plants in the world of skyrim. The ability to craft linen from flax seeds either from the alchemy station or another station would both fit into the lore of the game and create another avenue for obtaining linen. I would very much like to see a mod that makes linen more available in the game. If possible, a version could be made that is compatible for EOS that would be awesome. The opportunity is there for a larger clothing mod, where various fabrics could be made from existing plants in skyrim (like flax seeds, tundra cotton, ect). I just wanted to through that out there as an idea. I tried to create this mod myself, but I found myself lost in the construction kit. Directions on that would be welcome as well. If I can create this mod myself I would have course upload it to TES Nexus. What do you guys think? Is there anyone who would be willing to take up the project?
