DarrixSama
I installed Skyrim and everything's working but when I activate mods (manually or with NMM) Skyrim crashes and it closes (I see the "Bethesda Game Studio" and it closes after) . I "ungreyed" the "DATA FILES" button by changing something under the "Launcher" section in SkyrimPrefs. Does it have something to do with Skyrim not working? And how do I fix the game so I can activate mods and everything works? (I'm using Windows/7)
aruless
The "ungreyed" is not ur problem, my advise, uninstall all the mods, and test the game, if(then else xD) the game ctd again, re-install the game, else try one mod at the time until you find wich one is the bad guy. o/
koolko22
Some mods do not work with other mods. maybe its a mod conflict problem.
DarrixSama
I did re-install the game (twice) and nothing's working when mods are activated. I tried re-installing NMM and still not working. I also already tried loading just one mod at a time, and guess what, not working. It's kind of depressing T_T The game works pretty well when no mods are active but I'm kinda bored of my armor and weapons and graphics...
Allamorte
Your using NMM, go to your user folder, show hidden folder if necessary and go to AppData/local/skyrim and open the file there called 'plugins' with notepad or whatever your preferred text editor is. check to make sure skyrim.esm is listed twice. if it is, delete the second entry and then launch skyrim from the launcher. DO NOT launch it through NMM since it will just undo what you did. that should fix the crash issue....
koolko22
Reinstalling Skyrim is of no use, there are still some files that remain....

PS: It's mostly the first time I have to do something like that, so everything got to be really clearly explained... ^^''
Allamorte
Go to your control panel, click on appearance and personalization, under folder options, there will be an option to show hidden folders and files, that will give you a window to do so.

Allamorte
Okay... But now, what if it is not listed twice? is it listed at all? because it needs to be there for it to run, I actually just finished my script to check for both right here--->http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=16440 This isn't guaranteed to work, but I know a lot of people have been having crashes because of this...
