Issues with [CODE] tags between Posts and Forums

I recently had issues with comments I've pasted on my mod Unity Console for PoE2 where when i use something like the following.

[code]
import Game

Game.GameState.Instance.LevelScaleUpOnly = False
[/code]

It works fine in the Posts area but when I look at it in the Forum it merges the two lines together on a single line appearing to lose the white space or maybe not liking line ending characters. Doesn't look like your code tag supports python so that is probably not it.

 

The formatting caused confusion for posters using the forum rather than the main posts area.

 

If I edit the post in the forum and dont really do anything different then it seems to work fine in both places.
