Can anyone help me with a endless loop loading screen?

So...

If i can't remember the exactly mods I were using... I lost the entire game?

So far yeah, it looks that way. I'm in touch with HBS and they are looking into it. But for the moment, you're in the same boat I am. Which is to say, screwed for the time being. With the data saved on their servers, there is nothing we can do on our end to fix the problem.

I was playing alright and didn't installed anything after the problems showed up! or before...
I think that the problem is really server sided...
I was messing with some modifications in skirmish mode, trying to see if i could improve the jump system with better JumpJets...
When i realized that no matter what number I put in "jump Capacity" the jump was the same distance... I deleted the files and the entries in the VersionManifest.csv... But forgot that I had saved some Mechs in the Mechbay with those itens... then the endless loading appeared!!!

What I'm finding really strange is that I even putting back those files and the entries, it will not load!
Even with a clean installation for another user (windows and paradox) wouldn't make the game work...
Even tried "deleting" Steam Cloud files (modifying my saves and uploading empty folder to then)... but NOTHING WORKED!!!

I'm really frustrated...

Yeah, it's got to be server side. From what i've managed to learn, they keep some kind of list of mechs, components and such on the server. Once it gets updated from what's on your system, it checks for those things from then on and if it doesn't find the right files/changes in the right order it just keeps looking for them... forever. I find it hard to believe that such a horrible oversight was put into the game despite the massive modding community and interest show in such even before launch. They even led us on by saying that they weren't going to do mod support but giving us the go-ahead to change things if we liked. Still hoping HBS can find a fix to this, i've been locked out of the game since 5 days after launch now.

Try blocking the game in your firewall. There are software firewalls, like Tinywall, that make it pretty simple.

If that alone doesn't work, then try putting steam in offline mode.

I block everything by default and never use steam cloud. Never had a problem like this.

I tried that, i even bought and downloaded the game over GoG and it did the same thing. I have no idea what's wrong with it at this point. I had the mods running fine and then windows decided to do a random reboot in the middle of playing and the game has never run since. I just installed the Rogue mod that rewrites most of the game. Got it to load to the starting screen and selected new game. Again when it went to the black page with the hint box and spinning wheel in the top left corner, it just kept spinning quickly and cycling through the tips. Indefinitely. I've installed it on a different computer and same results. Both on steam and GoG... i'm a total loss and wish there was some way to fix this as i really do love this game.

I'll copy/paste the last email i got from HBS about it and how to fully purge all traces of the game from my system. (I didn't fix the game though)

We went back to the drawing board to see if we can offer more help and here are two solutions that we hope will finally get you playing.
Follow these directions for the first solution:
Go into the game
Delete all save games in the load interface from Campaign and Single Player Skirmish
Quit the game
Allow those changes to sync to the cloud (Steam or GOG)
Quite Steam/GOG completely
Relaunch Steam/GOG
Try to play the game again.
If that doesn't work, these are directions to make sure you are deleting all BATTLETECH files. This should place the game in totally clean state with no saved files or lingering mod data.
Find the install directory of BattleTech and delete it after they have uninstalled the game from within the Steam/GOG
Client.
Steam install path for Game:
D:\Steam\steamapps\common\BattleTech
This directory or drive letter may be different based on the path they originally installed the game in.
GOG install path for the Game:
D:\GOG Galaxy\Games\BATTLETECH
This directory or drive letter may be different based on the path they originally installed the game in.
Delete the BATTLETECH folder and all of it's contents.
Then delete the BATTLETECH folder and all of it's contents if present on their system.
C:\Users\(USERNAME)\AppData\LocalLow\Harebrained Schemes\BATTLETECH
Then launch the regedit tool (if on windows) and find and delete the BATTLETECH registry entry folder if it is present, should be here..Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Harebrained Schemes\BATTLETECH
If you need help accessing that tool they can find it online here
Reboot your computer.
Re-launch Steam/GOG
Re-Install the game and Play the game
This is our last ditch effort to get you up and playing again. It should completely wipe the game from your Steam account and your computer so we hope it helps.
