If you can let me know what didn't work, Maybe I can help, or make the help files clearer.

i exported the 7z files into the 7zip software and it unpacked them, i then put the ESP files into the oblivion data file and it did reconize the files when i booted up oblivion and clicked on data files i checked them, but when i went into the game and went to the central statue to find the dagger it was no were to be seen and niether was the other stuff i downloaded, im not sure whats wrong but for some reason it only reconizes BSA files in the game i downloaded a scythe and it reconizes it

http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=3731 thats the scythe

use such a packing tool like winzip/7zp or winrar

the extract ALL files inside into your oblivion/data directory (sometimes you have to move them afterwards as theyre in a nother folder called "mymodsomin" whose content only needs to end up in the data directory)

a dagger for example has the following files:

blabla.esp --> data directory

blabla.nif --> data/meshes/ directory

blabla.dds and blabla_n.dds --> data/textures directory

but make sure they end up in the exact folder as in the archive as the blabla.esp needs to access these files and only looks for them where they belong

so most blabla.nifs would end up in a folder like data/meshes/weapons/blabla/
