LiliumSnow
I have the latest Frosty Mod Manager and for some reason I'm not able to launch Andromeda through it; I'm able to play Andromeda on it's own just fine, but not through Frosty. I've made sure I have both Andromeda and Frosty run on administrator mode. I've tried launching the game without any mods to see if it was a problem with one of the mods I downloaded. I've also repaired the game through Origin. Tried removing and then reinstalling Frosty. Initially it gave me an error about requiring elevation (i.e. needing to be in administrator mode, which I know do), but now it just gives the pop-up showing the "launching game and applying mods", then the program minimizes itself and nothing happens. Can someone help me? It was working just fine two weeks ago, and now it suddenly doesn't. Edited May 15, 2018 by LiliumSnow
LiliumSnow
Okay I fixed it. I had to delete the ModData and the bcrypt.dll from Andromeda's directory, then use Frosty again.

StevenfLoBue
@ Hannibal, found a solution for same problem as you that hasnt been seen elsewhere. My issue turned out to be the program I used to extract zip file for Frosty. Used 7zip instead of the default extractor and it actually sorted everything into the proper folders, including the ThirdParty folder which didnt exist for me before. After that, loaded my mods and the game started up. Yes, even the ones that say they are for an older version. Hope this helps.

Christophylax1
Frosty mod never worked for me, on any OS or computer.the only mod manager that worked for me, for other games was TexMod, and most of the time it did't work either. so I just had to get used to playing vanila, Or hope the modders would give me the files so I could install manualy. But usualy you have to learn how to unpack them yourself.I hate Mod managers. Edited January 2, 2021 by Christophylax1
Yovaneth
Had the same problem - simply deleting the \ModData folder solved it for me.
