wolfgonebad
I have downloaded mods which are active, yet when I load the game, no mods ??
BaronofHe11
You will want to give a little more detail than that. For example which mod manager are you using? What if anything have you tried to fix the problem? Give as much detail as possible. I had the problem with MO2. I just had to restart my computer. However, besides that you could try making sure you didn't install anything to the C drive, if you did move it somewhere else even if this isn't the problem. Give everything dealing with skyrim admin rights. If using skse64 make sure you are using the skse launcher to launch the game. If none of that works maybe after giving us some more info someone can give you some more reasoned advice that is more related to your situation. Deleted3897072User
Are the plugins actually present in your steamapps\common\Skyrim Special Edition\Data folder? If not, you may have the game folder setting wrong in NMM.
Graybark
It might also help to know how you determine that "no mods". Maybe they are active after all and you have not found/seen what the mods do.
Moksha8088
When you are new to modding many things seem to not work. Hang in there and answers will be found. The best friend to new modders is NMM 0.65.4. The LOOT program and TES5Edit also help. Use NMM (it is much simpler than the more advanced Mod Organizer, but not quite as simple as Vortex) to help foolproof mistakes made by manually adding files.
