Boredom got the better of me lastnight

Last night I was wandering through the land of Skyrim and thought "not enough action going on here, need to liven this up a bit". So I exited Skyrim and pulled up an empty text file:

added 15 ancient dragons

added 7 Cryo Mages

added 7 Pyro Mages

added 7 Shock Mages

added 10 Centurion Guardians

added 40 Imperials

added 40 Stormcloacks

added 10 werewolves

added 10 Draugr Deathlords

added 20 Magical Anomilies

added 7 Giants

added 10 Mammoths

I called the text file 'Warzone'.

After about 10 seconds of 1 frame per second as these things spawned the game jumped back into life. The first thing I noticed was that a lot of these things were placed on top of the dragons so when they took off to fly, a lot of the other creatures were lifted into the air and fell to their death. Needed to find a solution.

I set about categorising them. I created a new text file called 'Mages', this contained seven of each type of Mage as with above. I created another text file 'Soldiers' and this contained the command to unleash the 80 Imperials and Stormcloacks. The next text file I called 'Bad Guys' and that contained the Werewolves, Draugr and Magical Anomolies. 'Canon Fodder' was the name for the text file with Centurions, Giants and Mammoths. And ofcourse... the last text file was called 'GIVE ME DRAGONS!!!!"

Now my plan was to unleash the puppets to my play one at a time, I would execute the bat command and then run to another place. Execute the next. This worked really, really well! The mages came first because they were a pretty powerful faction and a couple might have killed by the time I execute all bat files. With the battle in full flow I still felt something was missing, and with my system still running at a decent 40fps-60fps I had to make one more faction to introduce to this battle.... added 75 Chickens I called it 'Operation Chicken Feed'.

The lulz of boredom, might record another re-run tonight.

pics or it didn't happen lol.

i'm guilty of spawning skeevers, wolves, mudcrabs, horkers, sabre cats, chaurus, spiders, spriggans, trolls, wisps and wraiths

inside crowded inns, palaces, city/town squares and imperial/stormcloak/forsworn camps when bored (sorry no pics either).

thank Sheogorath for savegames..

That gives me the idea of spawning some giants and mammoths in an inn. I will try and record another run tonight, but with the FRAPS video likely to be well over 4GB I will probably be uploaded on Saturday. :whistling:

Cool idea for a mod. Make an arena with a pulsating pillar at the center that just emits high-powered Frenzy spells and summon that bat into the pit!
