Heartcloud Posted May 4, 2012 Share Posted May 4, 2012 I haven't played Skyrim for too long, but I've noticed:- You can't block while moving- Can't block while dual-wielding- Can't have both physical weapon and magic equipped. Gotta keep going back into inventory to switch...I found these very weird as I'm able to do all of that in Oblivion. Even in RL you would be able to do these things I think, assuming magic exists. The automatic unequipping of my physical weapon if I want to cast magic is very tedious. There should be a key that casts your equipped magic, not sharing LMB/RMB for magic...So since the creation kit is out, does anyone know if it would be possible to make these changes? There are two major flaws: 1. there needs to be a second "Ready Weapon" key , i.e. you press R to unsheathe your weapons/shield then you press C to put those away and ready a second set. Basically you'd have 2 spell/weapon equipment sets you could swap between.2. The hotkeys are poorly implemented for the dual wielding system. How they work currently - you have to tap a hotkey twice to get a spell into your left hand (you have to equip both your hands with the same spell in order to equip to your left hand)How they should work - hold the hotkey then click, the spell/weapon gets equipped to left or right hand depending on click (when applicable) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
