PJS1488
I just reinstalled the game. I made sure I was using the newest version of LooksMenu, the newest version of F4SE. I made sure all my presets are in the proper folder, but, still, the presets option remains grayed out in character creation. Could this be a load order issue? Any ideas, or, advice would be appreciated.
bill8872
I think it's an install issue. Try installing another preset and see if that works.
PJS1488
I tried that earlier, and, the .json files are being installed in Fallout 4/Data/Plugins/F4EE/Presets. Which, I thought, was the correct folder. Now, it's been ages since I've played this. Perhaps this has changed?
bill8872
That is the correct path. I might be load order, but I get the feeling looks menu might not have installed correctly.
PJS1488
I used NMM to install it. I've always had much better luck with that method, than manual installation. Edited May 18, 2018 by PJS1488
bill8872
I use NMM as well. Sometimes it dose not load mods correctly. I can't say if Looks Menu is load order dependent, but it might be. I do know the preset option is dependent on F4SE. If the rest is working, then there is a load order issue. PJS1488
Oh, I know. That's why the first thing I did was to make sure I had the right version of F4SE for my version of FO4. Also, I always launch the game with the F4SE Launcher shortcut I created on my desktop.
bill8872
I don't know if it will help, but there is another post about this a few thread down.
