Justcallmetarzan
So I made a mod with a house I sunk into a wilderness area and some interior rooms for it. Oblivion crashes when loading, but only with this mod enabled. I have some Argonian NPC's that are just supposed to kind of wander around in the basement of this place, and I'm thinking that they're the problem - something to do with their behavior or pathing, but I'm pretty much a n00b and don't know where to start troubleshooting this... Ideas?

Ideas? Well theres a lot and numerous reasons to why you could crash while transitioning. Let me ask you a few questions.. Whats immedately on the other side of the door (other then the door marker)? Your computer have high graphics settings active? If so, try lowering them then entering. It might be that so much graphic (lights, forms, objects) is on the other side. Be specific and give me a run down on "unique" items are in it? (Like is there a zealot robe inside, are the npcs using a demonic weapon, is there a vendor selling custom goods with rare items) Theres more i can ask but check and ask these, try to kill off a few causes. Justcallmetarzan
Well the only part of the mod that would initially load up is the changed wilderness cell - so stuff in the interior cells wouldn't cause it to crash right away, would it? The wilderness cell is one near the Imperial Prison right be Sideways Cave... the only change I made in the cell was to sink my house into the ground, add a door, and delete some creature that spawned close-by so I wasn't getting attacked when I went home. The first interior cell has two doors - one out, one to the rest of the house. Second cell has 3 doors, only 2 of them are enabled currently - one to the atrium, one to the basement. Basement has a bunch of chests, coffins, candles, couple Varla Stones, some bone clutter, and an Argonian pen where I keep six 50% Argonians. I would guess it's something wrong with the pathing for the Argonian NPC's, but i could be entirely mistaken on that.
