mjp79
So I was going to undertake the task of creating a mod that will allow each book to give a skill point in a particular area. I would not change the books that already had skill points or alter spell books, etc. I was mainly thinking of doing this with all the regular books and possibly some of the journals. I did a brief search and I did see a couple of mods that added skills to a few certain books but nothing that added skills to nearly every book. Has this task already been undertaken? Do you think this would be considered game breaking / OP? My rationale was that "Knowledge is Power" (potential name of the mod) and you should gain something from each book you "read". I would determine the skill based on a) the content of the book and/or b) what previous TES games gave you. Here is a small sample of what I mean: (The books in italics are already in the vanilla game, I just added them for cross reference) 16 Accords of Madness, v. VI (Conjuration)16 Accords of Madness, v. IX (Illusion)16 Accords of Madness, v.
