AnubisRaven
I have Oblivion (The GOTY edition) for Steam. The Mods I have installed are as follows: Unique Landscapes Compilation Crowded Roads Revamped Alive Waters MD Natural faces v095 Natural Environments Orsimer Overhaul Passive Mudcrabs Crowded Cities Improved High Resolution Faces Francesco's Levelled Creatures and Items (disabled user made items and creatures) I've been having a problem with stuttering, mostly just out in the wilderness, but also in cities, and sometimes even in houses. It's been pretty annoying. I've tried defragmenting the files and verifying the files, I've also tried capping the FPS at 60 (by modifying the Oblivion.ini file. I've heard that was a pretty common fix) It doesn't seem to matter what settings I have it on, but it's confusing, as I can play Skyrim and Fallout 3 without a hitch (and my Skyrim is also fairly heavily modded) My system is as follows (taken straight from the little specs program on my computer): OS: Windows 7 32 bit CPU: Intel Core i3 2100 @ 3.10GHz RAM: 4.00 GB single-channel DDR3 @665MHz Graphics: HP w1907 (1440x900@60Hz) AMD Radeon HD 6700 Series (If I remember right, it's a 6770) I've looked at a lot of different places online, trying to find a fix for it, but nothing I've tried so far has worked. I have seen that there's supposedly a plugin for OBSE that fixes the problem, but apparently OBSE doesn't work with the current version of Oblivion (taken from the website) so I don't know if that's an option. Lethys90
Hmm, I think OBSE actually REQUIRES the latest version of Oblivion to work properly (That's 1.2.0416 btw). If you can get OBSE to work, then the plugin you're looking for is Oblivion Stutter Remover, mostly its "Replace Heap" function, and possibly the 64Hz fix too :)

I'll definitely install OBSE then. Would you mind linking me to the stutter remover and the 64Hz. The remover I've heard of before, but I'm not sure I ever found a download for it, and I've never heard of the 64Hz before.
Lethys90
The 64 Hertz fix is actually a feature of the Stutter Remover, and here it is: http://oblivion.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=23208It can be somewhat painful to configure, especially the latest "work in progress" version since not all features are documented, but it made a lot of difference for me, so it's worth it! :)

Didn't help a bit. I had no different whatsoever, the game keeps stuttering. Any other suggestions?
