morrowind1979 Posted May 20, 2018 Share Posted May 20, 2018 Hi all I am making a Cthulhu boss and so far it has taken me 4 whole days just to learn how to cut the head off a Hermaeus Mora Daedra and anoth 1 day to learn how to add the UVmap. Now the porblem is everything looks fine in blender: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/images/701913 But when I export the file as an obj (this is the only format Nifskope will accept) and import the obj in Nifskope the UVmap is all messed up: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/images/701917 Does anyone know how to fix this and save me tearing the last 3 hairs out my head lol? I use it all the time for statics and weapons.There's a suite of robust nif tool for Blender.although I dont know and have never tried exporting an armor. akaik, exporting to object would crush the info in the file anyway Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
morrowind1979 Posted May 22, 2018 Author Share Posted May 22, 2018 The nif scripts only work for me when importing a nif. When I try to export anything as a nif(even an imported nif) blender throws out a load of errors and no file is created. I manged to fix it by exporting the model as a .3ds then importing it into Nifskope and the UV maps were fine. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
