Not getting any exp after messing around with mods.

So I installed a bunch of new mods today and after starting a completely new save I found out I'm not getting any exp whatsoever now. I tried disabling my mods slowly few at a time to see if I can catch which mod is suppressing me from getting any levels. But I ended up completely disabling every single mod I have, and still not getting any exp, which leads me to follow that it's something to do with my actual skyrim files. If anyone has any ideas or questions to help me fix this issue, it would be wholeheartedly appreciated.

Delete your .ini files in Documents/My Games/Skyrim and verify your game files. Then start a new game with your mods.

 

I assume you are using the recommended mod tools to ensure a stable game. These are LOOT, TES5Edit, Wrye Bash, a mod manager, either NMM, or MO, or Wrye Bash to download and install your mods.

Thanks for the reply, and yeah I'm using NMM to install them LOOT to order them and Wrye Bash as well.

Okay it's working now but very very very slowly.

Had to kill a ton of things to get from level 1 to 2.

Know of anything that could cause that?

I was messing around a lot with uncapper if that hints at anything potential?

That certainly could be the culprit. The early levels usually level up quite quickly. Try putting Ely's Uncapper ini back to the default setting and see if that helps. You may have to reinstall the mod to do so.

 

The only other thing I would do is check to see if any of your other mods affect the experience gain for any of your traits.
