Say your ONE favourite God or Goddess, only one, Daedric or one of the nine, but not both! :) And a reason WHY!

Daedric: I pick sheogorath, cuz hes mad, cool, got a nice land, (shivering isles,) has hot female golden saint and dark seducer escorts, and everything. Give me a kudo cuz this is unreplyed topic.

Sheogorath - Only person anywhere near as insane as me :D I've seen too many people claiming to be sane to ever want sanity :P

I hate them all.

Except Meridia, who seems to take necromancy as a personal affront because it doesn't allow things to just DIE.

And Azura. She gives you the single most useful artifact in the game as a reward for killing people she could have just healed. Charming.

As for the gods--I completely believe Camoran's story. They're a pack of hypocritical thieves.

Nocturnal's the only one out of the whole bunch who's at all decent. She's robbed TWICE, and the worst thing she does is cast this namby-pamby curse on one of the thieves--in fact, not even. The curse is just on the person who keeps her stolen property. Plus, I like her shrine.

OK. It's Nocturnal for me.

You should have made this a poll.

Azura without a doubt, fell in love with her in Morrowind because of her strong independance, to do what was right not what was according to some relgious beliefs.. For it was She alone that defied and undid all the gods, both the Divine and the older Daedric ones.. she alone stood up to them.. and stood up for the Dunmer people.. ..

As for her followers, in Cyrodill as any Goddess the rule applies no interference unless asked. Its called free will..If they had asked her to be healed I believe She would have.

But if they choose this self punishment out of shame..Then she would with sadness respect their decisions ..I believe thats why she honoured them with candles, respect of their choices, and self sacrifice...neccessary or not she honoured them..Who knows perhaps they prayed to her for their deaths to be set free, to go to a better place with Her..Who knows..that we the player were not the answer to that prayer..

My opinion of her since Morrowind it has not changed.

Cheers

I agree with Sarya & Aerin. Nocturnal is serene, enigmatic. Doesn't require anything of you, just asks for a little help. Didn't care much for the attitude of her followers, however.
