scottym23 Posted May 6, 2012 Share Posted May 6, 2012 The title "Dovahkiin" to me means something a little more powerful than the game play suggests. Some people tend to fear the power and mystery surrounding him; others don't even believe they exist. You are the only Dovahkiin during this time period and effectively the savior who will defeat Alduin and the dragon invasion. And yet, when you start off the game a bear can easily claw you to death. I know that they can't start you off all powerful, but seriously? It's just a bit anti climatic in my opinion, to hear all of this hype and burden put on you, the all powerful dovahkiin, and yet a common mage can easily defeat you, even at the regular adept difficulty. That's why I played one painstakingly long play through on master doing all of the faction quests and main story quest along with the storm cloak story. For my other play throughs I did it on adept, but now I'm going to start a play through with a difficulty that I perceive to be ideal for the Dovahkiin; Novice. GoodfellowGoodspring Posted May 6, 2012 Share Posted May 6, 2012 (edited) If you don't do the main quest storyline you are just an ordinary citizen of Skyrim, its by doing the quest you find out about your dragon voice even though you are still pretty much a warrior who can shout a lot.. the main thing what bugs me is that people don't worship you as there savior, they just wonder if they are a dragonborn and complain about arrows in their knees -_- Edited May 6, 2012 by GoodfellowGoodspring Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
