targetleon
I have played Skyrim for quite some time now and there are some things which I think would make the game's life longer. Simple realism tweaks: ILLNESS and TEMPERATURES 1. Temperature affects health- e.g Cold areas have an effect on fatigue or health unless wearing furs or thick clothes. Fire burns and damages health too. Swimming wets clothes and therefore you are likely to get a cold or flu. 2. Poor areas of Skyrim have disease which can be contagious. 3. Infection from injuries. Somebody did a mod for this in Morrowind. You can bleed to death also.4.Night time cold- you need to make a fire at night or you will get a serious cold. AGEI thought- wouldn't it be great to start the game as a child- as the game goes on your learn your skills and age at the same time. By the time you get to be an elder you should be a master of your trade. You can also have children who age, so basically by the time you die you can automatically take over as one of your children. This would add such a new dimension to the game where you can honor your father's death or seek revenge! REPUTATION, DUTIES AND RESPECT I really felt annoyed when I completed the very easy quests to become an arch mage- only to have no duties, no mentorship of young wizards- despite being under qualified for the job! I think you should only be able to take jobs based on experience and rank. For example- to be the leader of a guild you must have worked up through the ranks and then achieve level 30. You must also challenge the current leader to a dual if they haven't already been killed in the story.Duties as a senior guild member means being able to train new recruits (and be paid), to be able to ask other guild members to accompany you on quests and to assign quests to other guild members. Wouldn't it be great to ask assassins to kill certain characters for you? Hell, even if you aren't in the Dark Brotherhood you should be able to pay them to do assassinations for you.You should be also able to marry into the royal family or at least serve them- with the hope to climbing ranks into royal establishment. This could open up a whole new guild- Royal Knights, with the title 'Sir' or 'Lord'. LIFE UNDERWATERI loved it in Morrowind where you could go diving for pearls in the seas. Also you explore shipwrecks and find hidden chests in the plants. It would be great for someone to add a few more dangerous things to the waters- crocodiles, sharks, snakes etc.. FINANCIAL COMMITMENTS I hate that time when you just get bored of exploring. Why would you work when you don't have to?1.Introduce taxes- each month 300 septims is demanded by the Imperial tax collector. 2.House owners pay land tax3.Road Tolls and border checks to stop illegal migration between controlled regions MORE INVOLVING JOBS Hopefully modders will be onto this soon Well I'm sure you can think of lots more to add more life to Skyrim
Satin181
That's a lot to ask for. How would you even marry into other guilds or recruit. They can only be so many npcs..
RaktoastTheSandwichTopper
1. i like the illness part and i know there is a bandages mod out there2. i'd like the aging thing depending on the speed at which it happens3. i think having a menu telling the person to either step down (persuade), buy the tittle (bribe), challenge to a dual (brawl), or kill them would be better4. no reptiles skyrim is too far north for coldblooded creatures5. i like the rest
